Rhubarb-oats-crumble

Perfect as a Sunday Morning treat or as a dessert for dinner!

I don’t add much sugar to the rhubarb itself; if you don’t like it sour, maybe add more maple syrup

INGREDIENTS

750 g rhubarb

1/2 cup apple juice

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 vanilla bean

1 cup or oats

1 cup of rolled oats

2 tablespoons of butter

20 g of sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon cardamom

PREPARATION

  1. Cut the rhubarb in small pieces, wash it and put it into an oven pan
  2. Mix the juice, maple syrup and vanilla bean seeds and disperse it over the rhubarb
  3. ┬áIn a bowl, mix oats with sugar and spices. Knead in the butter until it’s an evenly crumbly mix. Then disperse it over the rhubarb
  4. Bake for approx. 30 minutes at 180 degree Celsius
